The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated mid to senior level infrastructure lawyer to join our Legal, Compliance and Insurance team. Each year, Aggregate Industries undertakes a significant programme of Capex works and this role will play an integral part in the delivery of the programme. You will be a key stakeholder in support of the procurement strategy and be skilled in negotiation, drafting and in-life advice. You will work closely with our internal procurement, project management and engineering functions. This role will also support our Surfacing Solutions and Major Projects teams with the review of construction contracts relating to the supply of asphalt, aggregates and concrete. This is a high-profile role with exposure to a wide group of stakeholders across finance, engineering and commercial teams, and working closely with members of the Executive Committee, and colleagues across the Holcim group. Key Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding non-contentious construction law advice on construction and infrastructure contracts including MF/1, MF/2, NEC4, and FIDIC.

Provide timely in-life advice on contract administration and interpretation matters.

Act as an escalation point for any disputes that arise and refer matters to external law firms when required.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure best possible outcomes for Aggregate industries.

Proactively manage external law firms including fee arrangements and work flows.

Provide legal and commercial guidance on project structuring.

Who are you?

You are a qualified lawyer with proven experience of advising on infrastructure projects. You will be a self-starter and be able to work independently and as part of a wider team. With excellent negotiation and communication skills, you're ready to work closely with a number of internal stakeholders and provide top-tier legal advice. Requirements:

Solid background in capital projects and infrastructure laws.

Expertise in contract negotiation, drafting, and dispute resolution.

Keen analytical abilities and detail-oriented approach.

Capability to work autonomously and within multi-disciplinary teams.
