Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Solicitor, ideally with experience in the charity/NFP sector, however other in-house commercial solicitors and general commercial solicitors will also be considered.

Read all the information about this opportunity carefully, then use the application button below to send your CV and application.

Candidates will likely have 3 years+ PQE and be able to attend a London office when required (likely once per week). Although this PQE is ideal, please don't let it put you off making an application if you otherwise fit the spec. The role will ideally be done on a full-time basis, however you should also apply if you are seeking to work for 4 or 4.5 days part-time.

The work here is a broad range of commercial contracts - drafting, negotiating key deals with other parties, and also advising on data protection, IP, charity law, supporting with governance, legal and regulatory requirements. It's an excellent role for the right person and because it's a small team you'll have a real impact. Public procurement experience would also be welcomed, although isn't a necessity. Candidates without charity/NFP experience, but with a genuine interest in the sector, will still be considered.

The in-house legal team at this UK charity is growing and is incredibly valued by the organisation. You would fit within a team of around 4-5 lawyers.

Others at the organisation and in the team work remotely from outside London so candidates with a good home office setup and access to public transport when you are needed in the office are encouraged to apply.

Please contact Adam Zdravkovic at Think Legal for a confidential chat about the job, and a full job specification.
