Legal Counsel Insurance Job In London

A leading General Insurer with a global reach is looking for a Legal Counsel for EMEA to join their growing Personal Lines Insurance Team. This role suits an ambitious lawyer who is seeking an exciting challenge, working for a top tier insurance organisation with a global presence.

As Legal Counsel, you will look after the following:

• Drafting and negotiating key commercial agreements, both Insurance (TOBAs, Introducer, Distribution) and general commercial (SAAS, Outsourcing, Regulated Agreements).
• Horizon scanning and understanding new regulatory developments that could affect the business.
• Supporting the team's and business lines objectives and supporting key strategic projects for the business.

The successful candidate will be at least 3 years PQE, having worked in-house or in private practice. Experience in drafting commercial agreements and an understanding of Insurance Law is preferred.

This is a hybrid position, typically 2-3 days per week in their London office.
