We are hiring for Formula One, a global leader in motorsport entertainment with half a billion and growing fan base. We are currently looking for a legal counsel to join F1's reputed brand protection legal team to work on market-leading exciting mandates.


Responsibilities:

  • Instructing local counsel and reviewing correspondence including cease and desist letters on enforcement matters across the UK and globally
  • Analysing IP monitoring and surveillance reports, recommending next steps
  • Responding to 3rd party queries in relation to use of the F1 IP
  • Liaising with senior members of the team on problematic IP files as and when they arise
  • Reviewing settlement agreements


Requirements:

  • 1 -2 years PQE (flexible to consider profiles outside of this range)
  • Trained and qualified at a recognised law firm (in-house experience via secondment would be a bonus)
  • Experience working on contentious and non-contentious trademark matters
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
