About the role
You'll play a key position overseeing legal affairs relating to their property portfolio. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Legal- Real Estate, you'll collaborate closely with senior executives across the organisation, including the Group Head of Acquisitions.
Responsibilities
- Working on contentious and non-contentious real estate matters
- Variety of property acquisitions (freehold, corporate, and new leases)
- Site disposals and leasebacks
- Managing leases and renewals per the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
- Property disputes
- Review of JCT contracts and collateral warranties
- Dealing with property acquired as part of a business purchase from administrators (experience of administrations advantageous)
- Assist in managing external counsel
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ-4PQE)
- Must have Commercial Property experience, including Landlord and Tenant
- Commercial awareness
- Desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
