A qualified solicitor with property litigation experience, and ideally at least 4 years' PQE, is sought for a number 2 role in a small (but growing!) in-house team.We placed the first in-house legal person into this business in Lancashire a few years back, and they are now looking for some support - the business is doing well.
This is a role that will be suitable for somebody from either a private practice or in-house background.Particular technical knowledge and expertise within residential property and propertydevelopment is welcomed.
With this being quite a small and entrepreneurial business, you should beopen to getting involved in other disciplines asthe business requires. Not all work is kept in-house - you willmanage relationships with external lawyers on larger pieces of work.
Youmust be adaptable, pragmatic and have good communication skills with the
comfort and ability to work largely unsupervised. There is a great opportunity for the right personto grow with the business and help shape the in-house legal department in the coming years.
