Our client is a leading exchange with its own clearing business that has a very strong heritage. As the organisation evolves, so has the regulatory requirements governing it and consequently the legal team are seeking to hire a solicitor with financial services regulatory experience.


This is a rare opportunity, as it will have significant exposure to the regulators in assisting with the implementation of new regulatory regimes and be part of the construction of the new laws and evolution, affecting trading platforms. In addition you will work as part of the wider legal team, providing advice on current regulatory issues and processes and provide horizon scanning for new regulatory matters, relevant to the business. The legal team is a tight-nit and cohesive group that provides flexible working in a modern and dynamic manner, with cutting edge legal issues.


Candidate Requirements


  • You will be a qualified solicitor from a top tier London firm, with at least 2 years’ PQE with financial services regulatory experience. Candidates with more experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Whilst advantageous and not a pre-requisite, experience of commodities and / or public regulatory would be desirable.
  • You must have a strong team ethos and have exceptional communication skills where you are confident to advise the business on a range of legal issues.
