Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a LEV Technician at Impact Technical Services. The LEV Technician will be responsible for performing thorough examination and testing on Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems, ensuring they comply with COSHH regulations and standards. The technician will compile and produce their own technical reports using a company laptop. On average one reporting day per week will be given and this will usually be taken at home. The technician will also be expected to carry out light repair works as and when required.


Progression and continuous development are key and so the successful candidate must be prepared to undertake further training.


The role includes provision of a company van, credit card, all instruments, tools, laptop, mobile phone and workwear.


You will be expected to stay away from home occasionally but as a business we do all that we can to limit these as best we can.


Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in carrying out LEV thorough examination & testing is essential
  • A minimum of BOHS P601 (but the more relevant qualifications the better)
  • Knowledge of LEV systems and relevant regulations and standards
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and report writing abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
  • In depth knowledge of COSHH regulations and HSG258
  • UK driving license
