NEW CLASS 1 DRIVER VACANCY

A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS ON THE ROAD CLASS 1 EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION PLUS EXPERIENCE OF WORKING NIGHT SHIFT.
LGV Class 1 Driver required for Temp to Perm work in Wednesbury, WS10. Working with one of the UKs largest metal distributors.
£41,340 pa salary (plus benefits when permanent)
13 week temp to perm
The role:
Working a NIGHT shift on 12 day rotation, you will be responsible for the safe movement of loads to service centres nationwide plus back loads:
A typical day consists of 1 delivery plus 1 backload
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO THE STRAP LOAD DOWN
Other duties may be required on an occasional basis so a degree of flexibility is required.
Days of work for LGV Class 1
Monday to Friday
Start times will range between 22:00-23:30
Rate of pay for LGV Class 1
£41,340pa (paid hourly during temp - perm period - £15.58ph x 51 hrs)
This is a TEMP TO PERM position.
Requirements:
LGV C+E licence
Digicard
Driver CPC
No DR or DD convictions
Ability to work permanent afternoons
A 'can do' attitude
Knowledge of load security
A good knowledge of drivers hours and tachographs, manual entries and road signs
A minimum of 6 months LGV Class 1 experience
