Oxford Active Ltd has been running successfully for over 20 years. Youll be working with children aged 4
14 years old, always ensuring the childrens safety, including during swim tests. As you are working with children, it is vital you have a good understanding of safeguarding children as well as being able to communicate effectively.
The Lifeguard hours are usually from 1pm
4/5pm, but this may vary depending on the needs of the site.
Active Camps runs from 8am
6pm Monday
Friday (excluding bank holidays).

Your Duties
Lifeguarding duties while children are using the pool facilities
Conduct
daily swim tests with all children before allowing them to swim
Working as a team to provide safe, creative, structured, and appropriate play opportunities for children aged 4
14 years
Follow our PSOPS
With other staff, being responsible for keeping premises clean and tidy
Working within all agreed policies and procedures
About You
Be at least 18 years of age
Must have a current, valid NPLQ
Must have previous experience working as a Lifeguard (Over 6 Months preferably)
Ability to communicate at all levels, particularly with children
Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
Willingness to undertake appropriate training and keep up to date with your Lifeguarding training
