Job Description

We are currently partnering with a L500 firm in London seeking a Commercial Litigation Locum Solicitor to assist the team, starting ASAP for 3 months + in duration.

The Opportunity

Our client, a reputable firm in London are seeking a Commercial Litigation Locum Solicitor to assist the team due to an increase in workload. The ideal candidate will have availability to start a new role ASAP and will be on hand to assist for a minimum of 3 months in duration and a high possibility of extension.

The firm are happy to take someone on a minimum of 4 days per week, but ideally 5 and flexible hours will be considered. Fully remote working is viable for this assignment, although you would be expected to attend Hearings based in London on occasions.

Responsibilities

The Locum would assume responsibility for covering a complex, high value commercial litigation caseload. Duties to include:

Arbitration

Partnership disputes

Shareholders claims

Directors' disputes

Debt recovery

Commercial and contractual disputes

Property Litigation

Requirements

Qualified Solicitor

Experience dealing with busy and varied caseloads of commercial litigation matters

Experience dealing with high value and complex commercial litigation caseloads

Ability to hit the ground running and work self-sufficiently

Availability to work a minimum of 4 days per week
