Based out of our East Kilbride operation, sttarting in September 2024

Your opportunity:

The role of Logistics Administration is to gain in-depth knowledge of each department and provide the necessary administrative skills required. Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all departments. The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative service. In each role you will work within your specific area with allocated customers. You will also work with the wider team to deliver sales targets by strengthening existing relationships and creating new business. The customers you will be interacting with could include everything from small to large customers. This 2-year programme will see you immersed into the world of supply chain and manufacturing, working with a wide range of internal teams. You will be focused in our logistics operation, which is key hub between manufacturing, distribution and sales. You will part of ensuring that our brands reach customers in perfect condition, and are always available on the shelf or at a venue.

 

  • Rotations across various departments, to build knowledge of the activities undertaken
  • Opportunities to build interpersonal skills and demonstrate good communication skills, whether face-to-face, on the telephone, in writing or on digital platforms
  • Opportunities to take part in key departmental meetings to deepen the knowledge and understanding of each area
  • Opportunities to demonstrates the necessary level of expertise required to complete tasks and to continuously improve work quality
  • Opportunities to take responsibility for initiating and completing tasks, managing priorities and time in order to successfully meet deadlines
  • Build a portfolio of work to support the successful completion of the apprenticeship programme

 

Make your mark:

  • Alongside the opportunity to rotate and work in many different functions and roles, you will study towards a recognised Scottish National SCQF Level 6 qualification, with the potential to progress to a higher level of qualification at Fife College – virtual working

  • You will receive a salary of £20,500 a year, with annual salary reviews.   • You will have attended a minimum Natonal 5/GCSE qualifications,ideally with or working towards your Highers/A-Level or equivalent studies.
  • You will be living within easy reach of our East Kilbride operation
  • You will have the right to work in the UK - if that requres you having a VISA, then it must be valid for the whole 2 years.
