On a day-to-day basis, we develop, produce and market non-destructive testing devices: sensors, probes, robotic solutions, etc., as well as the necessary operating software. Your daily life:

The incumbent of this position serves as a Logistics Specialist for all shipments (local and international) at Eddyfi Technologies. We are a rapidly growing international high-tech company that offers high-performance non-destructive testing solutions for critical component inspection. On a daily basis, we develop, produce, and market non-destructive testing devices: sensors, probes, robotic solutions, etc., as well as the necessary operating software. Our instruments have applications in a variety of industries, including oil and gas, aerospace, and nuclear.

In this role you will:

As a key resource, you will be the reference person for international logistics (import/export). In this important position, you will be responsible for the logistics of our shipments worldwide.

  • Act as a reference person for international logistics (import/export).
  • Develop import and export procedures.
  • Monitor regulatory compliance with customs regulations.
  • Serve as an intermediary between planning, sales, shipping, and legal affairs with export control-related requests.
  • Communicate with the customer to understand transportation needs.
  • Prepare more complex commercial documents.
  • Research, negotiate, select, and manage contracts with carriers.
  • Ensure compliance with Eddyfi's quality system procedures and requirements.
  • Support logistics teams with insurance claims.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operations to optimize on-time deliveries and transportation costs.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of best practices for international logistics and coordinate activities among the company's various international offices (Canada, US, UK, France, etc.).
  • Participate in international transportation training for logistics teams and other functions within the company.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

What We're Looking For:

  • College Studies Attestation (AEC) or College Diploma (DEC) in Logistics Administration (an asset). Any combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
  • Five years or more of relevant experience.
  • Good knowledge of commercial documents related to shipping.
  • Good knowledge of customs compliance.
  • Excellent understanding of Incoterms.
  • Rigorous and enjoys working in a team (collaboration/communication).
  • Excellent time and priority management skills.
  • Strong ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
