- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and delivery of goods, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Manage inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimise stock discrepancies
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and guidance to drive success
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and carriers, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective and reliable transportation services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive operational excellence
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practises, advising on potential improvement opportunities
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and experience with inventory control methods
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team and driving operational excellence
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
