First Recruitment Services are partnered with a long-standing client in their search for a Logistics Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global company who are an expert in their field! The position is a permanent role as an on-site Representative based in Preswick.Logistics Controller Duties:* Responsible for receiving and distributing fasteners, chemicals, paints and freezer material, whilst ensuring agreed service levels are met and exceeded.* Managing stock levels to build line and ensure stock availability.* Goods receipt of all products for distribution to customer.* Logistic support.* Dealing with internal and external queries and complaints.* Communicate to program administrator variations in usages reviewing reasons for variances and addressing with customers accordingly.* Comple with the businesses mission, values, quality systems, procedures and ISO manual.* Communicate on a regular basis with Operations Manager and Program Administrator, informing them of the status of agreed tasks, general site information and any critical problem areas.* Participate in quarterly team roundtables reporting of highs and lows, warehouse issues, training requirements, new business opportunities and health and safety issues.Logistics Controller Experience and Qualifications* 1-2 years of related work experience within a similar environment.* Ability to multi-task and work effectively.* Previous experience of working within a fast-past environment.* Ability to work independently.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Basic Microsoft Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).* Associate degree, Certification of related field of studies is advantageous.The company are offering a salary of £24,000 - £25,000 per annum.Wild Recruitment Ltd T/A First Recruitment Services is acting as an employment business in relation to this assignment.Please note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person's gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
