Job Description

Work closely with the Depot Manager, Transport Manager and Quality Control and Client relationship Manager ensure that our scheduling is effective, efficient and correct to make sure that each and every one of our customers receives their fuel on time and to a first class service. The main point of contact for our Fuel operators/Drivers with regards to their rota and shifts and be accountable with the Depot Manager and Transport Manager the effective management of logistics, vehicle management, people, schedules and reporting. Your aim is to make sure every customer receives the best service within agreed timeframes. That our Fuel Operators are informed, updated and educated through system management in terms of delivery to our customers. Guide, coach and supervise the Logistics Coordinators and submit regular reporting to the Company Management

Responsibilities

Scheduling and rostering Fuel operators, vans and equipment needed to deliver our service

  • Route monitoring and planning of vans and Fuel operators
  • Responsible for the smooth running of a busy operational division in line with Management instruction
  • Completing in-house reports to provide data from systems (stock, volumes etc)
  • Maintaining and overseeing systems and relevant equipment in the back of the vehicles
  • ISO reporting
  • Organize vehicle documentation on electronic systems–including MOT’s due in line with TM
  • Delivering high levels of customer service internally and externally
  • Supporting the Depot Manager in employee performance as well as reviewing your own performance management
  • Support DM in recruitment
  • Ensure that all Employees are complying with their training
  • Guide, coach and supervise task management with the Logistics Controllers
  • Complete alcohol and drug testing when requiredMonitor and escalate issues with Fuel operators conduct, feedback from clients as well as overall conduct/performance uniform and behaviourHelp with the on boarding process of new Fuel operatorsCovering delivery routes as and when requiredLooking at PSL and ways to reduce costs
  • Produce reports for CEO–Including VPC and DVAdherence to Company procedures and statutory laws
  • Full deputizing of Depot Manager when required
