Job Description:

We are looking for someone keen to join our fast-paced Logistics Department as a Transport Administrator, this is due to our immense growth in the past few months where we have raced to the front of our market, overtaking all our competitors. Do you have experience working in a busy office environment?


Purpose of the role:

·        Supporting the transport team and the logistics manager on a day-to-day basis, monitoring fleet of vehicles, documenting and logging all defects and damage

·        Responsible for booking drivers, timesheets, key ownership and allocation, driver prep, scanning and entering all de brief information into our database.

·        You will monitor all driver documents and ensure that legislation is always met.

  • Liaise with internal departments, including Warehouse and Customer Service as well as external stakeholders, such as customers/suppliers.
  • Assisting with vehicle walk-rounds to ensure drivers are complying with their daily pre/post vehicle checks.
  • Work closely with the Transport Administrator and Logistics Manager being sure to escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Analysis / offering cost saving solutions.
  • Any additional tasks as required by the Logistics Manager

Salary:  salary (DOE)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Place of work: On site Northampton relocating in the next 3 months to Kettering

Schedule: Monday- Friday 09:00-17:00 (You may be required to work outside of these hours)
