Machine Learning Scientist
- Paying up to £110,000
- Bristol Office (flexible approach to office time – someone commutable would be ideal)

La Fosse have partnered with a cutting edge Bio-Tech AI Start-up, who are currently hiring for a Machine Learning Scientist to join their growing team.
Their mission is to develop ground breaking AI models that leverage microscopy data and genomics to drive transformative discoveries. You'll work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of what's possible in the field of AI and biological research. Your role will be pivotal in advancing the development of the AI models, contributing to research, methodology development, data enhancement, and collection.
Requirements:
- Strong educational background in ML or related topic, with a PhD and publications.
- Strong experience with Python.
- Cloud infrastructure is beneficial (Ideally GCP but AWS and Azure is fine).
- Knowledge of ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy, and Pandas etc).
- Knowledge of Computer Vision.
Nice-to-Have Skills or Background:
- Experience in genomics or bioinformatics research projects in an academic, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology setting.
