My client is an international leader in the design and manufacture of over 300 products that are used on power boats, yachts, off-road vehicles, RVs & industrial spaces across the world. They are seeking a Product Compliance Engineer / Testing Technician to drive regulatory compliance within the business.
We welcome applications from junior and experienced mechanically biased engineers with manufacturing industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing compliance and testing processes.
- Lead regulatory compliance
- Manage product compliance testing.
- Guide product testing throughout the development life cycle.
- Collaborate with Quality and Design managers to create and own product test specifications.
- Develop test procedures, protocols, standards, plans, and reports.
- Perform hands-on product testing as required.
- Maintain in house test equipment.
- Participate in product risk assessments, such as FMEA, to proactively mitigate potential risks.
Key Skills:
- Level 4 (HNC) or above in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Ideally have worked in or around a Test Engineering department or Quality department maybe as a Test Engineer, Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Machine Assembler, Machine Operator, Maintenance Engineer or similar
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- 1+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
