Hybrid – Manchester area

Key Tech: Magento 3+ years experience

I’m currently partnered with an exciting Ecommerce business based in Greater Manchester who have recently been acquired by one of the CEO’s of a well-known appliance company. They are now going through a complete rebrand and rebuild and have large growth plans ahead of them.

The business is a rapidly growing online retailer of lighting of the home and they now dispatch over 1m orders a year form then modern distribution facility in Manchester. They are on target to triple in size by 2025 and it’s an exciting opportunity for you to join!


Their future mission is to establish a business model similar to the likes of AO and they are looking for a passionate Senior Web Developer to join the team as they go through their next journey of growth. You’ll be working closely with the Lead Developer, and current Junior Developer to work on new projects such as rebuilding the company website and working on greenfield projects. You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in the design decisions if this is something of interest to you.


We have placed both the Lead and Junior Developer into the team and from our regular catch ups, both are enjoying the role and the culture is something they pride themselves on.


What are we looking for:


  • Experience within Magento is essential.
  • Experience within Javascript is desirable.
  • An understanding or passion of UX Design – they are going through a completely new rebuild of their platform and website and it’s an opportunity to be part of every step of the process.
  • Ecommerce industry knowledge
  • HMTL and CSS experience.
