Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) firms we are are looking to recruit an Electrician to join our client's corporate facility in Bristol, near the train station.
The client are in corporate insurance and this is a major site for them set in an idyllic lake filled backdrop.
Here you will work in our Engineering team to complete planned and reactive maintenance across
Electrical infrastructure plus working to complete minor mechanical and fabric jobs in interests of delivering a seamless engineering service to keep the client's building running smoothly
This is a busy site with lots of extra building work taking place and is therefore an excellent opportunity for a developing electrical engineer to progress, and become more familiar with engineering maintenance in the built environment
Actions will include:
- Planned and reactive building maintenance whether specialised or general as directed and scheduled by the Engineering Helpdesk/Coordinator/Supervisor
- Installation works associated with building maintenance again whether general or in line with specialist bias.
- Completion of maintenance and reactive job sheets, as issued and scheduled by the Engineering Helpdesk/Coordinator/Supervisor
- Weekly time sheet and service report sheet submission to the Engineering Helpdesk/Coordinator/Supervisor for all PPM and reactive works done during a given period.
- General building services works as necessary on any site designated by the Engineering Helpdesk/Coordinator/Supervisor.
- Completion of all log books, service report sheets as required per site.
- Reporting of any defects found during maintenance or service attendance.
- Health & safety compliance including appropriate use of Personnel Protective Equipment in carrying out your duties
We need from you:
- Full level of electrical qualification and some working experience in the industry.
