*Job purpose*
To develop and maintain an effective service to all Business Units in the Company.
*The Role*
* Time served electrician with industrial / maintenance experience
* 17th / 18th Edition
* Extensive knowledge of fault finding
* Extensive experience of working on DC systems
* Read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit diagrams and schematics
* Troubleshoot, repair and/or replace defective components in motors, generators, controllers, switchboards, and varied electrical fixtures including DC systems.
* Install and maintain electrical, electromechanical and electronic parts of machinery and equipment
* Perform preventive maintenance on plant and shop electrical systems and equipment
* Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the relevant electrical safety standards and regulations
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Good communication skills
* Knowledge of electrical legislation and understanding of RAMS / SSOW / Permits / LOTO
*Ideally in possession of, or confirmed willing to be trained in:*
* Use of MEWP training
* Working at Height training
* Confined Space training
