Job Description
The RoleAs the maintenance engineer you will be responsible for all electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification work on production lines on site. This will include fault finding through to a competent level with a multimeter or by checking inputs and outputs, reading schematics, and checking HMI screens.Electrical components include sensors, relays, safety circuits, 3 phase motors, inverters, switches & panels. Mechanical work will include fault finding, swapping like for like on components such as bearings, motors, belts, blades.The work will be predominantly reactive maintenance.The ideal Candidate To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:Must have a recognised electrical qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ level 3, BTEC, ONC, C&G, HNC, HND).Experience as a maintenance engineerA positive can-do attitudeATA Recruitment specialises in Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Civil, Transportation and general Engineering recruitment on both a permanent and contract basis – for more opportunities like this one, visit our website.
