Job Description:

My client is looking for a number of engineers for their manufacturing site based in Hull. The main tasks and responsibilities for the role include:

  1. Maintain the engineering capability of the plant in line with the needs of the business.
  2. Monitor and maintain the planned maintenance system.
  3. Highlight potentially serious breakdown situations to the appropriate personnel.
  4. Ensure effective crew handovers.
  5. Ensure effective communication with all relevant departments.
  6. Ensure engineering compliance with Company, site, and statutory health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  7. Contribute to the upgrade, service, and installation of all new and existing equipment.
  8. Maintain an adequate supply of essential spares.
  9. Support the promotion and maintenance of the team working philosophy.
  10. Assist with/arrange the maintenance of site services as appropriate.

  2. Ensure knowledge of and compliance with all health & safety policies and procedures.
  3. Assist with the training and development of others.
  4. Ensure effective communication.
  5. Ensure knowledge of and compliance with all Company policies and procedures.

Shift Pattern:

4 on 4 off 7 to 7. 4 days 4 off 4 nights 4 off

Skills and Experience Required:

NVQ Level 3 - Electrical Bias
