Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
£40K-£45K + Pension + OT
1 week of earlies 1 week of lates
Commutable from Keighley, Skipton, Ilkley area
The Company:
ATA Recruitment is working with a multi-site manufacturing business that are a high volume producer within the FMCG industry. The site is fully automated and full of complex machinery and robotics.
They are currently looking to develop their maintenance department with an additional maintenance engineer.
The Role:
The maintenance engineer will be responsible for conducting both planned and reactive maintenance across a busy factory.
This will include both electrical and mechanical work
Electrically you will be working on 3 phase systems, controls panels, inverters, drives, relays, safety circuits and PLC's
Mechanically you will be working on conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, motors, and pneumatics
Required Experience:
The ideal engineer will be qualified to NVQ 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering
You must be multi-skilled and happy to work on both electrical and mechanical faults
This is a fast paced manufacturing plant so you must be able to pick things up quickly and enjoy day to day problem solving
