Maintenance Engineer (Mech Bias)

Have you had experience with Mechanical Engineering within a FMCG environment?

Do you have experience with conveyor repairs/replacements?

MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading FMCG Business on the search for a Maintenance Engineer. This is a perm role based in Newport.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and repair breakdowns on all production lines.
• Carry out PPM on all types of conveyor systems – repair, renew, modify.
• Improve OEE performance by proactively preventing failures – Modification ideas.
• Maintain and improve on-site health & safety.
• Consult with operators on best practice in terms of mechanical equipment.
• Undertake further training to ensure skills are a high level for technical support.

What are we looking for?

• FMCG experience preferred
• Previous experience with conveyor systems preferred
• Educated in an Engineering discipline (Level 3 NVQ +)
• High degree of computer literacy
