The Company
Our client operates a new waste management plant, they are seeking a Maintenance professional to provide predominantly preventative maintenance measures to support the efficiency of the operation. This provides the opportunity to bepart of a secure and long term maintenance role.
The Role of a Maintenance Supervisor
Reporting to the Group Maintenance Manager this role is a standalone position; responsible for the mechanical maintenance of the Environmental Processing Plant.
As our Maintenance Supervisor you will ensure that any mechanical problems are rectified as a priority and planned preventative maintenance measures are in place and carried out accordingly.
As our Maintenance Supervisor you will carry out any fault finding and repair of all associated plant and machinery, such as conveyors, hydraulics, etc
As Maintenance Supervisor you will co-ordinate and check contractors work.
The Successful Maintenance Supervisor
The successful candidate will have a mechanical maintenance background, experience working with heavy machinery, manufacturing, waste management or agriculture.
You may currently be fitter/engineer looking for your next step into a supervisory role.
The Successful Maintenance Technician will have good communication skills and the ability to work positively in a team environment.
Strong health and safety knowledge.
The ideal candidate will have a positive, cheery and can do personality and attitude.
This role would suit an individual who is keen to develop themselves as our business also grows.
