Our client is a global manufacturer supplying products worldwide. We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to work on DAYS, responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm, Friday 8am - 2.30pm.
Starting salary: £33,716, later rising to £35,744. Additional overtime paid at 1.5 rate.
We are looking for candidates with Electrical bias or multi-skilled/mechatronic experience in a manufacturing maintenance setting.
The Role:
- Planned and reactive maintenance on production plant and equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns and resolve faults quickly.
- Continuous improvement and machine upgrades.
- Work across electrical and mechanical systems.
- Work as part of a maintenance team to minimize downtime and maximize performance.
- Record maintenance logs as required.
- Work in line with company policy and health & safety.
What we are looking for:
- Level 3 apprenticeship in Engineering, Mechatronic, or Electrical Maintenance experience in a manufacturing/production setting.
- Multi-skilled across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Working knowledge of PLC's, controls, and robotics.
