Maintenance Engineer Role Job In Manchester

Maintenance Engineer role

Location: Thetford

Working hours: Monday to Friday 6am-5pm

Salary: £16-£20

Responsibilities:

1. Carrying out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults
2. Diagnose breakdown problems
3. Fitting new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly
4. Carrying out quality inspections on jobs
5. Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues
6. Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components
7. To control maintenance tools, stores and equipment
8. Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs

Skills Required: Preventative, Maintenance, Breakdowns, Fitting and Installing, Quality inspections, Good communication skills, Flexible to working hours

Qualifications Required: Qualification in mechanical engineering, own driving licence due to the location
