Expleo Engineering are seeking a Maintenance Paint Robot Technician to be responsible for the day to day running of the paint robot cells within our client Automotive facility in South Wales. This role will be offered on a Fixed Term Contract basis till the end of December 2024.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Paint Robot Technician include:
- Maintaining all Paint Shop robots and associated equipment to ensure that volume and quality targets are met.
- Supporting the Facilities and Maintenance department in new equipment and refurbishment activities.
- Working to resolve paint application problems and implement countermeasures.
Background, skills and experience required for the Maintenance Paint Robot Technician role:
- Automotive apprenticeship/engineering qualification is essential.
- Paint application experience essential including Primer, Base & Clear coat - water and solvent experience.
- Understanding of paint application equipment with robot teaching or programming, preferably Yaskawa Motoman or Fanuc.
- Flexibility to work shift patterns, overtime, weekends to support production.
