This Maintenance Supervisor role is what you’ve been looking for! You’ll get the opportunity to develop your management chops looking after a small, well-established group of Maintenance Technicians whilst keeping your hands on the tools. This is all part of an in-house facilities team working for a leading high street retailer; so no service provider dramas, good working conditions and you can be sure you and the customer are pulling in the same direction. The job itself is going to be a fairly even split between hands-on maintenance work (mostly electrically-biased) and team/project management. You’ll be looking after a small portfolio of 5 sites around Central London including 1 flagship store and then have supervisory responsibility for 3 Maintenance Technicians across the Greater London area.As Maintenance Supervisor you have support from the Area Manager and the wider facilities management, project and helpdesk teams. To be able to hit the ground running some experience supervising building services, facilities or maintenance people is necessary. As you’ll still have hands-on maintenance duties you will need to be a qualified (NVQ Level 2 or 3 plus 18th Edition) Electrician.
