Maintenance Technician
CELSA – Cardiff
£36,000 - £40,000 plus £3,532 car allowance
Joining our Scrap Purchasing team, you’ll be working on some of the largest pieces of kit and machinery you’ll find in the industry. You could be maintaining excavator scissors one day to fabricating and welding machine components the next. The role will make use of, and build upon all of your mechanical engineering knowledge and experience.
You will be travelling to our yards across the south including Cardiff and Bristol to maintain machinery. Ideally, you have previously worked within heavy industry as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
You need a minimum of NVQ L3 in Mechanical Engineering to be considered for the role.
We take scrap metal from across the UK, recycle it, and produce construction steels. Around one million tonnes of finished product every year. We’ve won awards for our environmental sustainability and we’re proud to be the largest steel recycling business in the UK.
