Major Projects Lawyer (Contracts & Procurement)

Locum, 3-6 months+

London Local Authority

£50-60 per hour (umbrella)

We are assisting a reputable and forward-thinking local authority in London in their search for a Major Projects Lawyer.

Due to low turnover, this team does not often have openings available, so don't miss out on this rare opportunity to join them!

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and committed Contracts and Procurement Lawyer with the skills to be able to hit the ground running with complex project work.

The role:

  • Give high quality legal advice to the Council and their various departments
  • Deal with high profile, politically sensitive and high value projects (including construction and regeneration)
  • Good knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 is essential
  • Company law experience is desirable but not essential (i.e. for dealing with housing companies)
