Management Accountant Job In Doncaster

Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to present an exceptional opportunity with a reputable and thriving business located in the Finningley, Doncaster area. We are currently seeking a dynamic Management Accountant to join their team and collaborate closely with the Financial Controller.

This role offers a diverse and engaging scope of responsibilities, including:

• Producing monthly management accounts
• Conducting in-depth analysis to investigate and explain variances in the Management Accounts
• Performing essential balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals, prepayments, and stock
• Handling the production of VAT returns
• Assisting in the annual budget process and quarterly forecasting
• Overseeing the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger functions, supported by the credit controller and finance assistant
• Contributing as a valued member of the team, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Progress towards ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification, or qualified by experience
• Proficiency in accounts preparation, encompassing journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and income deferral
• Exceptional numeracy skills and a proven track record of accurately managing financial data
• Strong IT proficiency
• Ability to effectively manage workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving situations
• Impeccable organisational skills coupled with acute attention to detail
• Proactive approach, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment
