Maintain and provide financial information to support cost management within the business. Under supervision, perform analysis of financial and performance information and prepare reports in an accurate and timely manner for management.

Maintain the organisations accounting functions so that financial transactions, policies, systems, and procedures meet the organisations business objectives and comply with regulations, accounting principles and standards. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare plant monthly financial results in accordance with company rules 
  • Perform month-end closing for related operations and cost transactions 
  • Analyse the costs, prepare weekly and monthly variance reports on forecast differences and the causes for, Scrap, Material Cost, Usage & Production Efficiencies 
  • Identify cost saving initiatives 
  • Provide analysis and advice to management team on plant financial performance 
  • Preparation of plant monthly forecast 
  • Preparation of plant annual budget in line with company’s strategy 
  • Cooperate with UK Financial Controller & Team to ensure plant performance in properly reflected in actual results, forecasts, and budgets 
  • Maintain systems and controls over inventory and plant fixed assets 
  • Maintain accurate and reliable product costing process 
  • Review production scrap process and identify scrap reduction initiatives 
  • Strive for continuous improvement within the finance function 

Qualifications

  • Qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA or working towards 
  • Bachelor’s Degree ideally Accountancy & Finance related 

Skills and Experience

  • Advanced Microsoft Application experience (Excel mainly, Word, PowerPoint)
