Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Dronfield area as they look to recruit a Management Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Duties will include:
- Full review of Nominal Ledger/Trial Balance
- Preparation of monthly Prepayments and Accruals
- Schedule and reconcile Accrued Income
- Maintain/update Fixed Asset Register
- Preparation of monthly Profit & Loss account for 3 entities on Sage 50 and Excel
- Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet for 3 entities on Sage 50 and Excel
- Preparation of monthly Cash Flow for 3 entities on Sage 50 and Excel
- Month-end closedown for 3 entities on Sage 50
- Preparation of monthly Board pack, reviewing results against KPIs
- Assist Head of Finance with annual Financial Statements for submission to external Accountants
- Prepare/review/update monthly forecasting, with submission to Bank
- Analytical work – assisting the Head of Finance with a variety of projects Cover may be required in the following areas from time to time
- Accounts payable – input supplier invoices/credits onto Sage 50
- Accounts receivable – input customer invoices/credits onto Sage 50 and customer portal
- Treasury – input bank transactions from automatic data feeds onto Sage 50
- Payroll – assist in collating data for monthly payroll run
Person Specification:
- Accountancy practice background (2+ years in smaller practice preferred)
- AAT Qualified
- Personable team player
- Methodical/analytical approach
- Proficient user of Sage 50 and Excel
