Management Accountant

Responsibilities:


  • Full Financial Management: Oversee the entire finance function, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Credit Control, accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
  • Management Accounts: Produce monthly management accounts and report to the Board.
  • Reconciliations: Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analysis: Analyse Profit & Loss statements, margins, and variances.
  • Cash Flow: Manage cash flow and currency.
  • Budget & Forecasts: Implement budgeting and forecasting.
  • Payroll & VAT: Prepare and manage payroll and VAT through a third-party agency.
  • Commercial Partnerships: Collaborate with other departments for business and commercial partnering.
  • Third-Party Relations: Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, insurers, pension providers, and other third parties.
  • Systems Management: Oversee financial systems, policies, and processes.


Essential Skills:


Significant experience with SAP Business One systems.

Partially or fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.

Experience working with third-party sales tax and cross-border tax advisors.

Ability to independently manage all aspects of transactional finance.

Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Experience within an SME and a consumer goods company.

Willingness to roll up your sleeves and contribute to all aspects of the business.
