Job Description

  • Prepare and report weekly and monthly financial information, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes for the GB Mills.
  • Collaborate with Mill Managers and Category Accountants to meet their reporting needs.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in accounting and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial control processes and group policies.
  • Support the senior management team with scenario evaluations and financial analysis.
  • Participate in and possibly chair weekly and monthly financial review meetings.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified accountant (or QBE) with strong technical financial accounting skills.
  • Have experience with ERP systems and strong financial process knowledge. Mtech & SAP desireable.
  • Demonstrate excellent planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
  • Be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience in agriculture or FMCG industries is desirable but not essential.
