Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Maternity Cover (approximately 12 months)

Grafton Banks Finance in Kent are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our client’s finance team on a maternity cover contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial insight and reports to department heads, as well as presenting budgets and forecasts to the senior leadersh­­ip team.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present financial reports to department heads, including monthly management accounts, budget variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the charity's financial performance and provide expert advice to stakeholders
Assist in the development and maintenance of the charity's financial planning and budgeting process
Prepare and present budgets and forecasts to the senior leadership team
Analyse financial data and identify trends and areas for improvement
Provide support to department heads in understanding their financial performance and making informed decisions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports
Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes

Requirements:
Part Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
Proven track record of providing financial insight and reporting to non-financial stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Experience with financial planning and budgeting processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
