Job Description

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Account Manager to manage and develop key accounts within our manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service that aligns with the company’s strategic objectives. Account Management: Act as the primary point of contact for designated manufacturing accounts. Conduct regular account reviews to identify growth opportunities and potential risks. Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and implement strategies to expand the businesses market share. Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute account plans for key customers, focusing on long-term growth and profitability. Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on account performance to the Sales Director. Work closely with internal teams, including production, supply chain, and quality assurance, to ensure customer requirements are met. Provide product training, education and support to customers where necessary. Liaise with the technical team to address any quality or compliance concerns raised by customers. Proven experience in account management within the food manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of the UK food manufacturing sector Demonstrable experience in business development and delivering sales growth. Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously. Customer Focus: Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service and building long-term relationships. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform decision-making.
