Manager – Compensation and Reward - Group Human Resources

The rolesits within the Reward Compensation & Benefits Team of the Group HumanResources Department which delivers a full-service HR function across the JTCGroup.

PURPOSE OF JOB

The Manageris responsible for informing and supporting the development of JTC’s DE&Iand CSR strategy and polices, as well as providing up to date marketinformation to ensure compliance with laws and regulations in the differentjurisdictions JTC operates in. The role will also include providing support in otherareas, such as wellbeing, communication, employee engagement and reporting, aswell as any other Reward related activities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILTIES AND DUTIES

Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I):

  • Conduct market research and analyse internal data to inform and support the development of JTC’s DE&I strategy and polices.
  • Provide up to date market information to ensure compliance with laws and regulations in the different jurisdictions JTC operates in.
  • Provide up to date market information to help ensure that JTC’s DE&I approach is competitive with industry standards across various geographies and cultures.
  • Manage and secure partnerships with third party organisations to collaborate on relevant internal and external events and initiatives.
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, intranet and handbooks for the group are regularly reviewed and updated at least on an annual basis or in line with legislation and best practice.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):

  • Conduct market research and analyse internal data to inform and support the development of JTC’s CSR strategy, polices and pillars (economic, environmental and social)
  • Provide up to date market information to ensure compliance with laws and regulations in the different jurisdictions JTC operates in.
  • Provide up to date market information help ensure that JTC’s CSR approach is competitive with industry standards across various geographies and cultures.
  • Manage and secure partnerships with third party organisations to collaborate on relevant internal and external events and initiatives.
  • Partner with the Benefits team to develop and improve the DE&I aspects of the current wellbeing strategy and programme, using information received from wellbeing and engagement surveys and aligning to the Group’s values and goals.

Communications and employee engagement:

  • Create, implement and oversee communications programs that effectively articulates and promotes inclusiveness to ensure accessibility and equality of approach to all employees.
  • Create, implement and oversee communications programs that effectively articulates JTC’s CSR polices such as donating time and resource to charitable causes.
  • Manage and oversee the annual employee wellbeing and employee engagement survey, working closely with Marketing on the communications plan.
  • Support other internal reward, benefit and employee engagement campaigns, such as wellbeing, aimed at JTC employees, managers and external recruits.

Reporting – Internal and External:

  • Prepare statutory DE&I and CSR return data for review and approval, prior to submission before the relevant deadlines in across each jurisdiction.
  • Additional jurisdictional statutory reporting requirements; responsible for the creation of any such related data and provision of such data to local authorities or employees.
  •  Production of data and analysis for monthly board reporting
  • Assist other JTC functions with queries in relation to DE&I, CSR, compensation and reward enquiries.
  • Prepare and provide appropriate DE&I and CSR documentation for audits.

Compensation & Reward:

  • Provide support in relation to compensation activities, such as benchmarking (internal and external), data collation and analysis, preparation for annual compensation review cycle.
  • Assist with the administration of the HR processes in relation to “Ownership for All”, to include providing administration support relating to share awards/share schemes, in line with agreed workflows and processes, maintaining accurate HR records and documentation to enable the provision of reports regarding eligibility/membership to any schemes.

General:

  • Actively contribute and be a key member of a multi-jurisdictional HR team building effective working relationships to ensure procedures are accurately followed, allowing for continuity of service during busy periods or times of absence.
  • Uphold the professional standards expected of an HR practitioner and act as a role model of excellence with all clients, internally and externally.
  • Maintain the highest standard of confidentiality and security in terms of employee data and business information. Treat all HR data in line with GDPR and maintain an ongoing awareness of GDPR legislation.
  • Maintain accuracy when handling either employee or company specific data and ensure that the integrity of process is maintained. Follow four eye check protocol and fully complete check lists as required, including providing assistance to other HR colleagues who need support with four eye checks.
  • Contribute to the wider HR team, supporting ad hoc projects, exchanging knowledge and supporting standards of good practice.
  • Develop self and maintain knowledge in relevant field at all times.

  • Adhere to Risk & Associate Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
