Progress your career with an award-winning London accountancy firm, that has built a particularly strong reputation in the HNW private client tax field. Their Tax Dispute Resolution team is busy and growing, and now offers the opportunity for an experienced tax investigations professional to join them at Manager grade.
You’ll work closely with experienced tax investigations colleagues and partners in very much a hands-on role. You’ll oversee HMRC enquiries and investigations, leading clients through the process from start to finish. You’ll calculate tax liabilities, advise on timescales, penalties and disclosures, as well as making representations to HMRC. You’ll also be encouraged to build an internal network with your colleagues across the firm, and get involved with marketing and business development initiatives.
It’s an exciting time for the team and prospects for progression are excellent. You’ll need to have at least three years’ specific tax investigations/dispute resolution experience, together with the ATT or HMRC Inspector qualification. CTA or ACA/ACCA qualifications would be a bonus.
The role is based in central London, but offers the opportunity to work from home 2-3 days a week on average. Ref 5101
