Our client is an industry-leading engineering businesswith strong financial backing, a quality brand and a market-leading product. The Managing Director will work closely with the group and have lots of autonomy to create their own impact within the business.
You will be responsible for overseeing the company's operations and leading the management team to improve performance, profitability, and growth. You will have a proven track record of working within the engineering sector and experience leading cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing a strategic plan to turn around the business, including increasing sales, improving margins, and optimising operations.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that all teams are working towards achieving business goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure long-term success.
- Manage the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing cash flow.
- Implement best practices for operations, sales, and marketing, ensuring that the company is well-positioned for growth.
