My client, a global commodity information provider, is seeking an experienced European Regional Managing Editor to lead a team of price reporters and team leaders across Agriculture and Biofuels. This key role involves developing and executing regional plans, contributing to global initiatives, and driving growth. Market Coverage and Content Development: Balance market coverage with creating unique content and commentaries for pricing services. Uphold IOSCO-compliant price reporting to ensure integrity. Oversee development of robust, correction-free pricing and leading content. Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute regional plans aligned with organizational goals. Implement growth initiatives with editorial directors and senior leadership. Market Engagement: Engage with market participants through meetings, events, webinars, and speaking engagements to drive price adoption and gather insights. Share market insights with stakeholders to improve interactions and uncover opportunities. Promote prices and content through proactive engagement and relationship-building. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with global editors, managing editors, and the price development team to prioritize price benchmarks, products, and market coverage. Foster relationships with Strategy, Marketing, Product, and Events teams to promote products and services. Ensure consistent and effective communication within the team and across departments. Qualifications: Strong background in pricing markets and journalism within the commodity sector. Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams. Expertise in market engagement and public speaking. Ability to manage budgets and prioritize resources effectively. Strong business acumen and innovative mindset.
