Managing Quantity Surveyor - Remote with Travel - Up to £65,000

So, you’re at the top of your game right now, a wizard with numbers and not only that, you’ve an eye for the finer details. You’re already a Quantity Surveyor, and a great one!

Are you ready to take the lead on providing expert contractual insight into our Construction projects across the National Transmission System to help contribute to keeping the gas flowing throughout the United Kingdom. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to unique projects upgrading our control systems, maintaining & decommissioning assets, new build construction projects and with the transition to hydrogen and other forms of clean energy, who knows what else might be in the pipeline?

You will be able to navigate through complexities & ambiguity shining the light on simplicity & progress. You’ll develop a growing team of Quantity Surveyors and their juniors helping them in their professional development and making them the best in their field, growing the contracts team into a centre of excellence.

You’ll have invested time into your professional development, demonstrated by a chartership with RICS or CICES. You’ll have a catalogue of career excellence to shout out about and you will have experience in disputes and adjudications.

This is a national role, so let me explain the level of ownership and flexibility that you will have. You’ll be home start, which means your primary location is your living room, office or maybe your spare bedroom and that is where your day begins. You’ll travel nationally to site or one of our offices (such as our Warwick Head Office) as needed, and you’ll be in charge of the decisions on where and how often you travel. Sometimes you’ll want a tighter rein, and sometimes you’ll feel comfortable leading from afar.

Speaking of flexibility, you’ll be working for a manager that understands there is a life outside of work. You’ll report into a Commercial Manager providing technical advice, guidance, and your expertise. We measure your outputs, so you’ll have the flexibility to do the things you need to do, whether it be walking the dog, picking the kids up or whatever you need to do.

A 15% bonus based on personal and company performance.
28 days’ holiday plus statutory holidays – option available to buy extra holiday days.
A pension scheme where we double match your contribution (maximum company contribution of 12%)
Paid expenses for any business travel and accommodation.
A flexible benefit scheme where you can opt into a whole host of lifestyle options.
Access to employee support, care and assistance helplines.
