Manufacturing Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This is a key role for the company, and the incumbent will be part of the management team. Main Duties:
- Engineering lead on production related Capex, Energy Efficiency and Sustainability projects
- Development of current manufacturing processes and related QMS documentation
- Lead Continuous Improvement projects in the areas of Production Planning Methods, Scheduling/Planning Tools & MRP (123 Insight) system
- Investigate digital options for improved stock control and associated documentation through Production and Store facilities
- Development of existing SFDC system in line with Industry 4.0 advancements
- Lean engineering projects in conjunction with R&D and local Academic institutions on material advancements, and production cost reductions
- Collaborate with QA Manager to review and update production related controlled documents to ensure accuracy vs current processes and manufacturing methods
Essential Knowledge/Experience:
- Manufacturing related MRP/ERP Systems 123 Insight/Sage/SAP or similar
- Manufacturing processes and best in class methods
- ISO Quality Systems and Continual Improvement methods
- Implementing change in a production environment
- Familiarity with production planning/scheduling, purchasing, stock control processes, and logistics
- Accountability, reliability, and the ability to work on own initiative
- Desire to improve manufacturing methods and strive for efficiency gains
