Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in transferring the Online FWM into production, ensuring quality and efficiency in the manufacturing process by owning APQP documentation, implementing automation, managing third-party relationships, and validating processes. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and strong communication abilities to drive successful outcomes.

1. Management of Third Parties (for Jigs, Fixtures, equipment)

• Vendor Coordination

o Should have knowledge on Jigs & Fixture design activities

o Create scope of works (for Jigs, Fixtures, equipment) and manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

o Evaluate and select suppliers based on technical capabilities and quality standards.

• Performance Monitoring

o Monitor and assess the performance of third-party services and products.

o Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

2. Ownership of APQP Documentation

• Develop and Maintain APQP Documentation

o Lead the creation and upkeep of APQP documentation, including:

§ Project Plans

§ Process FMEA

§ Control Plans

§ Process Flow Diagrams

§ Work Instructions

§ Test Procedures

§ Capacity Planning

§ MSA’s

§ Process Capability

o Ensure that all documentation aligns with industry standards and company policies.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

o Work closely with NPD, quality, and production teams to gather necessary inputs for APQP documentation.

o Facilitate APQP reviews and updates throughout the product lifecycle.

3. Implementation of Automated Processes

• Automation Strategy Development

o Design and implement automated manufacturing processes for the Online FWM.

o Evaluate existing manual processes and identify opportunities for automation based on forecasted manufacturing demands.

• Integration and Testing

o Oversee the integration of automated systems into the production line.

o Conduct testing and validation of automated processes to ensure they meet production requirements.

4. Process Validation

• Validation Planning

o Develop and execute validation plans for manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.

o Utilise statistical methods and tools for process validation.

• Documentation and Reporting

o Document validation results and create reports for project team.

o Implement corrective actions based on validation findings to enhance process reliability.
