Job Description
Working in conjunction with key engineering teams across Segula Technologies Automotive engineering function, this role will provide a multitude of challenges for experienced Manufacturing Engineers.
Role Responsibilities include:
- Definingthe equipment specifications, TPM and autonomous checks
- Commissioning and set up of the equipment
- Training the relevant personnel in the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
- Liaisingwith all equipment manufacturers and as necessary to commission, maintain and improve the operational efficiency of the process
- Liaisingwith the Maintenance team to maintain all facilities and equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to production
- Creatingand maintaining the PFMEA and Control Plan
- Engaging with, and managing, key stakeholders within the business
Qualifications
- Qualified to Degree level with previous experience of lean manufacturing, preferably within a high volume, automotive manufacturing environment.
- Thorough understanding of the technical workings of the Cockpit and Console Facilities. These include AGV technology, DC Tooling / torque integrity knowledge, Automated Vision System capture, EOL Electrical Test and Desoutter MES programming.
- Previous experience in training and developing personnel.
- Experience of ISO/TS 16949 and Q1/SIM is desirable.
- Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD and Six Sigma
