We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer who can produce CNC Code and Programs for lathe and mill turn machines. The ideal candidate will have the ability to create effective methods of manufacture, working with designs for small batch, high end manufacturing and one-off prototype activity. Additionally, you will be expected to problem solve and work directly with the team in the Machine Shop, to resolve technical issues and build a professional interface with Designers, Buyers, and Customers.

You should be able to demonstrate:

  • Relevant Engineering HNC / HND / Degree
  • Extensive experience of Programming CAD / CAM / CATIA V5, Hypermill, Vericut
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, preferably Motorsport (alternatively Automotive or Aerospace)
  • Familiarity with components machined from solid or castings in multi-Op setups
  • Design of suitable fixtures and bespoke tooling
  • Code Generation for complex Mill Turn Components
