Reporting to the operations director, the supervisor will oversee production making sure each product is completed on time and to the standard of the customers expectations.
The main duties of the Process supervisor are: • To ensure that all Health & Safety Regulations and Quality Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to.
• To maintain the culture of lean manufacturing throughout the department.
• To improve machine efficiency and identify areas to improve.
• To insure the smooth running of the production environment.
• To ensure staff development through personal reviews, coaching and training initiatives.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain a high level of quality management systems throughout the department.
• Supervise, plan, develop, analyse, implement, and report continuous improvements, covering particular areas relevant to production and productivity.
Key Skills and Relevant Experience: • Experience and evidenced success of a production supervisor or equivalent role • CNC machinery (1-3 Axis) knowledge (Essential) • Quick learner; able to develop high levels of industry, product, and operational process knowledge • Multi processed production shift supervisor who can develop & drive lean methodologies, in line with the departmental targets.
• Work in line with the KPI s and departmental strategies/objectives.
• Ensuring goods and services are produced efficiently, and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality.
• Effectively planning, scheduling, coordination and control the production processes.
